Josie Hales

Josie Hales, Dip. Mus. T. ICMA, has over 25 successful years teaching music, piano, vocals and theory, being in a function band and music therapist, while still maintaining her 100% ABRSM exam pass rate.
 

Josie has led and directed many concerts, showcases, charity events, and talent shows, encouraging her pupils to achieve their optimum potential. Such showcases include, Aberdeen Music Festival and leading the choir for a Charlie House fundraising event hosted at the AECC.
In addition to this, Josies’ passion is composing music and writing poetry, which has been shared at numerous events.

 

Currently Josie is leading a weekly singing group for people who have Parkinson’s disease where annual performances raises money and highlights the importance of music therapy. Prior to this, Josie supported Clan, Cancer charity, as a music therapist where she worked closely with all the group members to write and record a song.
